The most variegated forms of vegetation are located along and near the volcanoes, where the ashes from past eruptions actually make for a much fertilized soil. Today, people from all over the world visit Costa Rica to enjoy sun drenched days amidst the blue waters and white sands.

The ideal time to visit would be from December to May and in Costa Rica, May is the driest month prior to the wet season. You really need to plan your vist wisely, when the weather is not too hot, because it is only mere miles from the equator. Try to stay alert to any possible disasters and do not follow groups you do not know. It pays to do your homework about Costa Rica in advance to gather all relevant information and plan your visit accordingly.
